Vintage Assist Pty Ltd, trading as Vintage Holiday Houses, collects personal information from its customers including (but not limited to) name, contact details such as phone numbers, email and postal addresses, and financial information including bank card details. This information is required to administer bookings and allow us to correspond with you in relation to your enquiry or stay.

We may also provide you with ongoing information via email to let you know of promotions, local events, and property updates. You can opt out of these communications at any time. We will not use your information for anything other than its intended purpose, and we do not pass on your personal information to any third parties that are not directly related to the booking process.

All personal information is stored securely on servers located within Australia. We take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access, including through the use of firewalls, password protection, and encryption of financial transactions.

Please note that if your booking was made through a third-party platform (such as Booking.com, Airbnb, or Stayz), your information is also subject to that platform’s own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their privacy policy directly for details on how they manage your data.

We will retain personal information for 30 days after your stay, after which all records are securely destroyed. The only exception is where a damage claim or dispute remains active; in such cases, relevant personal information will be retained until the matter is fully resolved, after which it will also be permanently deleted.

While we take every precaution to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that the security of online transactions and electronic communications cannot be guaranteed. You provide information to us via the internet or post at your own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for misuse, loss, or unauthorised access to your personal information where security is beyond our control.

You also acknowledge that we are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of any third party (including those we are permitted to disclose information to under this policy or applicable law). The collection and use of your information by any third party may be subject to their separate privacy and security policies.
